This policy explains what information Now Connect collects — both through the now-connect.net website and through the mobile apps we publish on the Google Play Store — why we collect it, and what choices you have. Now Connect does not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Scope of This Policy
This policy covers two things:
- The now-connect.net website, including analytics and any information you send us directly.
- Mobile apps published by Now Connect on the Google Play Store. Unless a specific app's Play Store listing says otherwise, all Now Connect apps follow the same practices described in Section 3 below.
Website: Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
If you contact Now Connect by email or phone, we receive whatever information you choose to share — typically your name, email address or phone number, and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you and to discuss the work you've reached out about.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived here. Google Analytics may collect:
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Approximate location (city/region level, derived from IP address)
- Device and browser type
- Referring website or search terms that led you here
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with any information you send us directly.
Mobile Apps: Information We Collect
Now Connect publishes mobile apps on the Google Play Store. Unless an individual app's Play Store listing states otherwise, our apps follow these practices:
No account required
Our apps do not require you to create an account or log in to use them.
No device permissions requested
Our apps do not request access to your camera, location, contacts, storage, microphone, or other device permissions beyond what's strictly required for the app to function as described on its Play Store listing.
No personal data stored or transmitted
Our apps do not collect, store, or transmit personal information. They do not maintain user profiles, and any data used by the app stays local to your device during use rather than being sent to us.
Analytics and crash reporting
Our apps use Firebase (Google), which may include Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, to understand app usage patterns and diagnose crashes. This may collect:
- App usage events (e.g., screens viewed, features used)
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash logs and diagnostic data if the app encounters an error
- An anonymous device or installation identifier
This data is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal identifier, since our apps don't collect those in the first place. Firebase's use of this data is governed by Google's privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies & Similar Technologies
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions on our website. Our mobile apps use similar anonymous identifiers (via Firebase) rather than browser cookies. None of these contain personally identifying information on their own. You can block or delete browser cookies through your browser settings; doing so may limit some website functionality but will not prevent you from viewing or contacting Now Connect.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and Firebase (Google) to measure app usage and diagnose crashes. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not share the contents of any message you send us with Google or any other third party.
Data Retention
Messages sent to us by email or phone are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of client communication. Website and app analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' and Firebase's standard retention settings.
Your Choices
- You can decline to send us any personal information — nothing on our website or in our apps requires you to submit information to use them.
- You can opt out of website analytics using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- You can limit app analytics by adjusting your device's ad and privacy settings, or by limiting ad tracking permissions in your device's operating system settings.
- You can ask us to delete any message history we have from you by contacting us directly.
Changes to This Policy
If how we collect or use information changes, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top. We encourage you to check back periodically.
